Kids Yoga Summer Series
Updated: Jul 3, 2019
We are super excited to bring Kids Yoga to Studio: K2G Yoga & Fitness this summer and are very fortunate to have such a passionate teacher leading the series. Tara Trementozzi is a first grade teacher in Manatee County and kids yoga instructor. Here's a little more about Tara and her passion for kids yoga in her own words:
"I have my Elementary Education Certification and have been a teacher for Manatee county for ten years! I took my RYT 200 yoga teacher training at Yoga Bradenton and fell in love with sharing the practice with kids. Yogitozzi Kids Yoga was created and had become my “second name” as well as my second job!
Using yoga postures in games, stories/adventures, crafts, and songs, children improve motor skills, flexibility, balance, strength, concentration and self esteem while having fun. I also introduce breathing techniques in relaxation to help kids feel calm and peaceful. It is my hope to help each child develop physically, mentally, and emotionally so they can handle difficulties on and off the mat. My passion is that each little yogi experiences the benefits of yoga as well as feeling safe and loved!"
Classes will begin at Studio: K2G on June 3rd and the schedule will be as follows:
Mondays: 10:45am-11:45am Ages 4-11
Tuesdays: 4pm-5pm Family Yoga (kids ages 5-10)
Cost: $12 drop in (kids class); $10 per parent and $5 per child (family).
Please be sure to arrive a few minutes before your child's first class to complete all paperwork and help to get them settled.
