CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

We have a class for everyone at every level.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a passive practice involving seated and supine poses held for 3 minutes to 5 minutes.  Yin yoga works to stretch and target the connective tissue between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility in the body. Yin can also help to regulate the body's flow of energy. This class is great for ALL levels of practitioners.  Class is 60 minutes and practiced in a 78 degree room.

Build & Burn

45 minutes of heart-pumping, HIIT style, full body workout that incorporates hand weights, resistance bands, plyometrics, isometric holds and more.  Our HIIT classes will help to build physical strength, burn calories, increase metabolism, improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance, reduce resting heart rate and reduce blood pressure. No two classes will be the same but will always continue to challenge you in the best way! The studio will be heated to 80 degrees, so get ready to sweat.

Yoga Flows

Our Yoga Flows are varying styles and paces of vinyasa based practices. Classes range from 60 minutes to 75 minutes. Each class will place an emphasis on breath and alignment in the poses.  Our Power class will move more quickly through varying series of stronger transitions and postures, sequenced in a safe and mindful manner, to open and strengthen the body and the mind. No two classes will be the same.  The studio will be heated to 85-90 degrees.

Our Slow Flow class is a more cued class at a slower pace with gentler movements. This a great class for those just getting back to practice after a hiatus or those newer to the practice of yoga.  The studio will not be heated.

A regular yoga practice can help to increase physical and mental strength, improve balance, reduce stress, improve circulation and reduce the risk of injury.  Why wait to get started?

Barre Strength

Using a small unweighted ball, light weights, bands and gliders, Barre Strength is a full body workout. You will isolate muscle groups with the main focus on core and glutes. This is class is for all levels with plenty of options given! Class ends with balance (core) and gentle yoga stretches. No two classes will be the same keeping your workout fun and effective. *The room will be heated to 80 degrees. 

Pilates Powermat

Pilates Powermat is a pilates matwork class that is a great way to incorporate full body strength, flexibility and coordination into your routine. Regular practice will result in better body awareness, improved posture, and a strengthened core.  Variations and modifications are given for all levels and abilities. This is a full-body workout, with an emphasis on toning the mid-section. The room will be heated to 80 degrees for an extra sweat.
